Final Art Packages

henlo hoomans 🙂 i just wanted to make a quick post talking about final art packages. i use a archive tool called winrar to zip the final art package and send it to you via a upload site called this is the same method i use irl for sending large files to clients and for me has proven to be the most reliable. if you are unfamiliar with the process, i do request that you read up on it as it will more than likely be the method of delivery i will choose. my files are high resolution and each folder contains a variety of source file types.

even a simple logo can get 10-20 different files created. i do release all file types from psd, png, jpg, ai, mesh scene, dae, ao texture maps, raw and textured + fonts, source images, vectors & more! i zip files in efforts to keep all of that organized for you to download. imagine the mess if i just threw stuff in a folder WOWOW!

Example of a large order’s files

if you are seeking programs that can open the zipped file i release, you can research winrar, winzip, 7zip and for mac users the unarchiver. personally i have always used winrar, i find its pretty easy to use and doesnt get all weird and glitchy.

i am aware of other options like dropbox and google drive, however currently i have 300+ clients from Secondlife alone. storage and organizing are very important to me. the process in which i release the final product is comfortable and affordable for both myself and the client. wetransfer is a free file sharing site, that provides security and large file sizes.  i will make note, that your download link will expire after 24 hours.

i do back up client files for 1 year after they are released. after the 1 year mark is up, i do delete the folder to make room for more files. so check with me if you would like a backup copy sent over.

i hope this clears up any questions regarding storage and file sharing. i appreciate your cooperation with the method in which i choose. if you have questions, please feel free to contact Kynziii. TY
