Placing an order

I just wanted to make a post touching on a couple things regarding my ordering process. I am running into a lot of situations where people are not prepared to share ideas regarding the design direction of their order. Which is crazy to me since most of them waited months to get accepted. I really cannot stress enough how important your input is to the creation process for your project. Nothing is more frustrating than speaking to someone about a new logo design and getting nothing in return for inspiration. Excuses like, “I am not a graphic designer,” is not going to help you from your lack of cooperation in your project. I am not asking for EXACT FINAL decisions. I just want to understand your personal connection to the brand and what you would like to see in your new design. If you can’t simply tell me that you like black & white logos, bold fonts and a clean, sleek design, I don’t know what you expect me to make for you. I feed off my client’s stories, mainstore / venue setups, flickr streams, product photos and even dive into their competitor’s pages to research and familiarize myself with the content. I know I am a very talented person, however I am not a machine. If you are unprepared to speak about your order you are risking it being postponed or declined completely.

I keep a VERY heavy work schedule and I thrive off details given for each individual product. Even if you are releasing complete creative control to me I still need to know some details. I request that you sign up for Pinterest and start making mood boards that support your interests and potential ideas for your project. I am a visual learner, so seeing photos and website links of colors, typefaces, background, icons etc are greatly appreciated and help tremendously in the brainstorming process. I am aware that some people just do not understand how custom stuff works, so this is why I am making a post. We have a lot of new creators joining the platform, which is fantastic! I am excited to meet you all and I send best wishes to anyone starting a new business here in Second Life. This is just how I work and when you are prepared for the order, I will get on the same level as you much faster than the road of “I don’t know.” If you don’t know, how am I going to sis? lol

As always, thank you for your interest in my custom graphic designs and more 🙂 I am geeking over my site hits lately! I appreciate you all so so much! At the time of this post, I am current on neon sign orders [7-14 day turnaround] and me being able to accept new orders will likely be in July. I am almost done with my waiting list! YUS!

Lastly, Savage and I are both experiencing delivery problems in SL when it comes to offline IMs, delivering offline notecards and content. If you feel like it’s been too long since you have heard from either of us, please touch base. We have been attempting to contact clients regarding order status’ and waiting list openings with no response for a couple weeks. I just want to make sure people are able to get in, if they still want in.

We have been handling most of our consultations on Discord. If you don’t have, better get it! It helps out so much with staying organized and up to date with clients and orders.

Thank you so much for reading 🙂
